Synopsis

Israel’s high-tech sector is in a tizzy due to the proposed overhaul of the judicial reforms in the country. What’s happening there could impact the rest of the world including India. Here’s a ground report from Israel.

On the streets of Tel Aviv, a huge banner the size of a four-lane road featured among a crowd of hundreds of Israeli tech entrepreneurs. It read: “Save Our Startup Nation”. And this became the hallmark of what is being termed as the “Hebrew Spring”. The flag depicts the thoughts of thousands of Israeli tech professionals and entrepreneurs. Since January 2023, Israel has seen major protests across the country and it all came to a tipping point
