27 Jan Indices: Stock market update: Nifty Realty index falls 1.26%
Shares of DLF(up 1.11 per cent) and Brigade Enterprises(up 0.28 per cent) ended the day as top gainers in the pack.
On the other hand, Sunteck Realty(down 5.7 per cent), Macrotech Developers(down 5.18 per cent), Indiabulls Real Estate(down 4.7 per cent), Prestige Estates Projects(down 2.13 per cent) and Phoenix Mills(down 1.08 per cent) finished as the top losers of the day.
The Nifty Realty index closed 1.26 per cent down at 407.55.
Benchmark NSE Nifty50 index ended down 287.6 points at 17604.35, while the BSE Sensex stood down 874.16 points at 59330.9.
Among the 50 stocks in the Nifty index, 13 ended in the green, while 37 closed in the red.
Shares of YES Bank, Zomato Ltd., , PNB and were among the most traded shares on the NSE. Shares of , , Jindal Saw, and hit their fresh 52-week highs in today’s trade, while , GTL Ltd, , GTL Infra and hit their fresh 52-week lows.
